Training policy
The rules that apply to anyone enrolling in BD AI Learning. These rules are enforced by the platform, not only stated here.
1. Enrolment
Enrolment requests are made by the learner from a published course. A request is recorded as pending; only BD AI staff can activate it. BD AI may decline or withdraw an enrolment where a course is not appropriate for the learner or where these rules are broken.
2. Course access
Access is personal to the enrolled learner and lasts while the enrolment is active. Course content, materials and assessments are available only to enrolled learners, instructors assigned to that course, and authorised BD AI staff.
3. Account sharing
Accounts must not be shared. Sharing credentials, redistributing course material or enrolling on behalf of someone else may result in suspension of the enrolment and revocation of any certificate already issued.
4. Attendance
For cohort-based training, attendance is recorded per session by the instructor. Attendance records are visible to the learner concerned and to authorised staff, and to nobody else.
5. Assessment
Quizzes, assignments and exams are set per course. Attempt limits, time limits and pass marks are stated on each assessment. Learners can see their own attempts and results; they cannot create, alter or grade results.
6. Academic integrity
Submitted work must be the learner's own. Copying another learner's answers, sharing live exam content, using an unauthorised third party, or misrepresenting identity is a breach. Confirmed breaches void the attempt and may void the certificate.
7. Completion
A course is complete when the required lessons are completed and any required assessment is passed. Progress is calculated from published lessons only, and completion is recorded against the learner's enrolment.
8. Certificates
A BD AI Certificate of Completion is issued by OMS IT and records that a learner completed a BD AI Learning course. It is not a government certificate, a university degree or an accredited qualification.
9. Certificate revocation
BD AI may revoke a certificate where completion was recorded in error, where academic integrity was breached, or where the certificate is being misrepresented. A revoked certificate stays in the register and reports as revoked on public verification — it is never silently deleted.
10. Cancellation and fees
Courses currently carry no online payment. Where a fee applies to corporate or institutional training, the fee, cancellation terms and refund terms are stated in the written engagement for that programme. No payment is taken through this website.
11. Support
Questions about enrolment, access, assessment or certificates go through the BD AI help desk or the contact page. Support is provided through official BD AI channels only.
